Long wait times expected after change in driver’s ed law

CINCINNATI — Starting next month, it may become more difficult to get a driver’s license in Ohio.

A new state law expands mandatory driver’s education to include all new drivers under the age of 21.

Currently, only drivers ages 15 to 17 are required to complete driver’s education. But beginning Sept. 30, that requirement will apply to anyone under 21 who wants to get a license, a change that’s already creating a rush at driving schools across the state…
