Greater Cincinnati man convicted of brutal 2005 murder seeks parole

CINCINNATI (WKRC) — Jeffrey Eberle, who is serving a sentence of 20 years to life for the 2005 murder of Michael Fish, is set to make a bid for freedom with a parole hearing scheduled for November.

Fish disappeared from a motel in Sharonville, and investigators believe he was taken to a property in Pierce Township. Prosecutors said Eberle beat Fish, choked him, poured gasoline on him, and set him on fire while he was still alive. Eberle then beat Fish with a shovel.
