Historic World War II airplanes on display at Lunken Airport

CINCINNATI (WKKRC) – History enthusiasts and aviation fans had a unique opportunity to explore World War II-era aircraft at Lunken Airport as part of the B-29 History Restored Tour. The event, which coincides with Lunken’s annual Airport Days, features three historic planes: the B-29 Doc, P-51 Mustang Gunfighter and B-25 Berlin Express.

Josh Wells, Executive Director, emphasized the significance of the event.
