Father charged after infant nearly drowns in bathtub incident in Cincinnati

CINCINNATI (WKRC) – A Cincinnati man is facing charges of child endangering after an incident in which his infant daughter nearly drowned.

According to an affidavit filed in Hamilton County Municipal Court, Daivonn Owens in June left his nine-month-old daughter alone in a bathtub filled with water. During his absence, the girl became submerged and almost drowned, sustaining serious physical harm. She was admitted to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center for several days.
