NEWPORT, Ky. (WXIX) – The man killed in a scooter crash Tuesday in Newport was a veteran who continued to serve his community after his years in the military, his family says.
Kristopher Gardner, 37, died after his scooter collided with a vehicle around 10 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Monmouth Street and New Linden Road, according to Newport police and the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office.
