Kroger set to break ground on newest Greater Cincinnati Marketplace

CINCINNATI (WKRC) – Kroger is set to break ground on a new Marketplace store in Cold Spring, Kentucky, marking a $37 million investment in the region. The project will replace the existing standalone store on Martha Layne Collins Boulevard with a larger, 131,000-square-foot Marketplace and a Kroger fuel station.

The new development, located about a quarter mile from Northern Kentucky University’s campus, will also include an 8,000-square-foot wine and spirits shop and a drive-thru pharmacy window. The expansion is expected to create approximately 100 additional jobs.
