Multiple local counties under quarantine as invasive species spreads across region

CINCINNATI (WKRC) – Hamilton, Franklin, Montgomery, and 15 other Ohio counties are under quarantine for an invasive species that is threatening vineyards, orchards, and people’s gardens.

The spotted lanternfly is spreading across the region, and workers are hoping you can help stop the invasion. The director of the Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA), Brian Baldridge, is putting out a hit on the spotted lanternfly.
