The historic building that used to house the Dearborn County Asylum for the Poor is at 11636 County Farm Road, northwest of Aurora in Manchester Township, Indiana. It has also been referred to as the Dearborn County Home. Various states in the U.S. had poor houses, asylums, poor farms, or almshouses.
