A man is dead and a woman has been hospitalized after a crash near Burlington early Friday morning, according to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said deputies were dispatched to the scene at the intersection of East Bend Road (KY-338) and Possum Path Road at around 4:01 a.m. Friday morning.
The investigation has determined that a 2009 Ford Focus, driven by 48-year-old Matthew Combs, was headed west on East Bend Road near Possum Path Road.
