Clermont County woman sentenced for starving dog to death

CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) – A Clermont County woman is out of jail following her sentencing for starving her dog to death.

Victoria Shoopman pleaded guilty to prohibitions concerning companion animals on Oct. 16.

A judge sentenced her to 130 days in jail with 43 days suspended. That leaves 87 days which she has already served while her case was in court. She is banned for life from having animals in her care. She must also pay restitution…
