1 arrested after K9 detects narcotics at traffic stop

BUTLER COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) – The Butler County Sheriff’s Office is commending the work of one of their K9 officers after a traffic stop turned into a drug bust.

The sheriff’s office claims that Deputy Josh Singleton conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and, after the driver refused consent to the search, K9 Radd was deployed for an open-air sniff of the car.

The dog gave a positive alert, indicating the presence of narcotics.

The alert led to the confiscation of 8 grams of methamphetamine on the driver’s person. A loaded firearm was also found inside of the vehicle…
