CINCINNATI (Cincinnati Business Courier) – Wawa, a Pennsylvania-based convenience store and gas station chain with a cult-like following, continues its advance into the Cincinnati region with the opening set for its first Hamilton County location.
Wawa is opening in Springdale at 370 Glensprings Drive Friday, Nov. 7. It’s the retail chain’s fifth location in Greater Cincinnati, but the closest to the city of Cincinnati and the first outside of the region’s northern suburbs.
Wawa currently has two store locations in Fairfield and one apiece in Liberty Township and Mason. The chain projects up to eight stores opened in Ohio by the end of the year, and up to 60 in the state total by 2028…
