Christ Hospital receives $2M in gifts for nursing scholarships

A pair of Cincinnati families with deep connections to The Christ Hospital are helping ensure the next generation of nurses has the support they need to succeed.

The Christ Hospital Health Network and The Christ College of Nursing & Health Sciences announced two $1 million gifts that will expand scholarships and strengthen the region’s nursing workforce. The combined $2 million investment includes an estate commitment from Ellen Camm and Dr. William Camm and a contribution from Linda Callard honoring her late husband, Dr. George M. Callard.

Both physicians dedicated their careers to The Christ Hospital Health Network, where they helped advance patient care and clinical excellence.

The funding will benefit students at The Christ College of Nursing & Health Sciences, a private, nonprofit institution located on the hospital’s main campus.
