OHIO COUNTY, Ind. (WXIX) – A Cincinnati man is dead after a two-vehicle crash involving a combine in Ohio County, Indiana, Monday evening, according to the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the wreck at about 6:30 p.m. along the 5100 block of Milton Bear Branch Road.
OCSO said that a car driven by Vernon Smith, of Cincinnati, crashed into the front tire of a harvesting combine operated by Tim Colen, of Switzerland County, while the two vehicles were traveling in opposite directions.
Smith was taken to UC Hospital, where he died of his injuries. Deputies said Colen was not injured…
