GALLATIN COUNTY, Ky. (WKRC) – An effort to crack down on drug trafficking in Gallatin County resulted in an arrest after a chase in which two cruisers were damaged.
The pursuit ended at about 11 p.m. Monday on KY 16 south of Verona in Boone County, near the Gallatin County line with the arrest of Scott Wood.
Two sheriff’s cruisers were damaged in the pursuit. The Gallatin County Sheriff says Wood tried to hit one deputy’s cruiser head-on. The deputy drove off the road to avoid him.
