SILVERTON, Ohio (WKRC) – Troy Hood, 58, appeared in court on Saturday, accused of shooting his sister during an argument at his home in Silverton.
Hood’s attorney claimed he was attacked with a liquor bottle and acted in self-defense.
Hood’s nephew called 911, reporting that his uncle was drunk and had shot his mother. The nephew said he punched Hood to protect her.
