‘Tragic accident.’ Papa Johns worker charged with killing co-worker

Attorneys for the Papa Johns employee accused of killing a man inside the West Price Hill restaurant called the shooting a “tragic accident” between two best friends.

Murphy Tilk, 21, faces charges of murder and reckless homicide after prosecutors say he shot and killed 23-year-old Nawaf Althawadi at the Papa Johns on West Eighth Street on Dec. 9.
