WLWT-TV (Channel 5) is welcoming a new face.
Meteorologist Sabrina Bates is joining the WLWT News 5 weather team, the station announced Dec. 16. Starting in January, Bates will anchor weather on weekend evenings and will report during the week, per a press release.
Bates, a native of the Chicago area, is a graduate of Valparaiso University in Indiana. Before coming to Cincinnati, the Emmy-winning meteorologist worked at WLWT’s sister station KOCO-TV (Channel 5) in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma…
