Pedestrian in Greater Cincinnati struck and killed by vehicle while making deliveries

SPRINGDALE, Ohio (WKRC) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in Hamilton County while standing by his parked semi-truck during a delivery.

Authorities said that 36-year-old Lakhwinder Singh Duggal was standing outside of his semi-truck on Northwest Boulevard in Springdale, Ohio at around 12:30 a.m. on December 17. Duggal reportedly worked as a truck driver and was in the process of making deliveries to a US Postal Service Distribution facility.

Duggal was struck by a vehicle that was driving northbound on Northwest Boulevard, and he succumbed to his injuries after being taken to the hospital. The driver of the other vehicle was cooperating with police during the investigation, and impairment was not a factor in the crash, authorities said…
