CINCINNATI (WKRC) – A nativity scene that has been in Cincinnati for almost 100 years almost disappeared, but was saved by the kind hearts of the local community.
Jody Biedenharn’s family has been bringing Christmas meaning to other Tri-State families for three generations with their Crib of the Nativity.
“It’s been my family tradition for 86 years, I don’t know a Christmas without the nativity scene,” Biedenharn said. “Best feeling I get is, instead of having little kids come and say, ‘Oh look at the cow, look at the donkey,’ they all get inspired. ‘Oh look, there’s baby Jesus,’ and that’s what warms my heart.”…
