Former Warren County corrections officer terminated, indicted for possession, smuggling drugs

CINCINNATI (WXIX) – A former Warren County corrections officer has been fired and faces 5 charges related to possession and conveyance of drugs.

According to the Ohio Department of Corrections, Joshua Fritz, 30, was terminated March 25.

Court documents say that between March 1 and March 25, Fritz was an employee at the Warren County Correctional Institute, where he smuggled drugs of abuse into the facility on two separate occasions…
