Sarah Thompson, who was appointed to fill Ludlow’s mayoral seat in September, filed for candidacy as the city’s mayor on Dec. 19.
Thompson formerly served as a city council member, first elected in 2024, prior to her appointment, which occurred after the former Mayor, Chris Wright, resigned in August.
“I am running for mayor in 2026 to continue serving the residents of Ludlow with dedication and accountability,” Thompson said in a written statement to LINK nky. “My focus remains on delivering strong services, responsive leadership and real results for our families and businesses.”…
