CINCINNATI (Cincinnati Business Courier) – A Tri-State restaurant group is hiring two chefs with experience working in Michelin-starred kitchens to lead its new suburban restaurant.
Yavonne Sarber, founder of Epic Brands, hired Roberto Castaneda as the executive chef and Jonathan Sauer as the chef de cuisine for her new concept called Whiskey Yard. Epic Brands is the restaurant group behind concepts including taco restaurants Agave & Rye, steakhouse S.O.B. and pizza shop Tokyo Pie, which opened in Covington last year.
The new restaurant is opening in February in the former Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern space at 7524 Gales St. inside the Liberty Center development in Liberty Township…
