Bond reduction denied for man accused in Christmas shooting of ex-girlfriend, children

CINCINNATI (WXIX) – A Hamilton County judge denied a bond reduction request Thursday for a 58-year-old man accused of shooting his ex-girlfriend and her two daughters on Christmas Day in Cincinnati’s West End.

James Brown remains held on a $900,000 straight bond after his attorney argued for a lower amount with a 10% payment option.

Brown faces six counts of felonious assault and one count of having weapons while under disability, according to Hamilton County court records…
