CINCINNATI (WXIX) – A Hamilton County judge has overturned a murder conviction, horrifying the victim’s family as prosecutors scrambled into court Wednesday to fight it and try to lock the suspect back up.
Late last year, a jury convicted Kenneth Thompson, 33, of murder and two counts of felonious assault in the Nov. 15, 2024, slaying of Paul Montgomery Jr, 53, in Reading.
