Cincinnati to convert old landfill into solar array that could power 1,200 homes

WINTON HILLS, Ohio (WKRC) – Cincinnati is moving forward with a new solar array project as part of its efforts to increase green electricity production.

The facility, located at the former Center Hill landfill in Winton Hills, will generate enough energy to power approximately 1,200 homes, though the electricity will be used by the city itself.
