‘Very disheartening’: Clermont Co. store receives threats after social media name mix-up

CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) – A Clermont County furniture store owner said his business has been targeted by online harassment after a case of mistaken identity on social media.

Jack Carey, owner of The Furniture Connection at Eastgate Mall, said his store is not affiliated with a business of the same name in Clarksville, Tennessee. However, a viral social media post led to confusion and backlash against his Ohio-based store.
