A massive winter storm dropped a foot or more of snow across Ohio this past weekend while also disrupting travel and cutting power to hundreds of thousands of people nationwide, according to USA TODAY.
Winter Storm Fern, as named by The Weather Channel, dumped sleet, freezing rain and snow over much of the country. Authorities reported at least 13 deaths over the weekend as frigid temperatures expanded over the eastern two-thirds of the nation. As of Monday morning, more than 760,000 power outages have been reported.
