OHIO — Schools across Ohio have announced extensive closures and schedule changes for Wednesday as communities continue dealing with the effects of winter storm Fern, which dropped close to a foot of snow and led to dangerous road conditions across much of the state.
In southwest Ohio’s Miami Valley, Dayton Public Schools confirmed that all schools will be closed Wednesday because of lingering hazardous conditions, with essential staff still required to report.
