Two people arrested after stealing mail in Indiana

INDIANA — Two people, including a former postal employee, have been charged in connection with an alleged mail theft scheme in southeast Indiana that affected residents in multiple counties.

According to the Dearborn County Prosecutor’s Office, Cheyanne Bradley and Evan James Joel Hensley are facing charges following an investigation into stolen and tampered mail impacting residents in Ohio County and Switzerland County.

Investigators said Bradley was employed by the postal service at the time of the alleged crimes and is accused of removing undelivered mail from her assigned delivery routes. Prosecutors allege Hensley then opened the mail and was involved in theft and forgery…
