City council member pushes to enforce sidewalk snow removal rules

CINCINNATI (WXIX) – Council Member Seth Walsh said Friday that the city’s snow response was a night-and-day difference from last year, but work still needs to be done.

He said the community and the city need to come together to ensure sidewalks are accessible as soon as possible when severe weather hits.

“We cannot tolerate just having sidewalks covered in snow,” he said. “We want to encourage people to walk about and get places without having to use their cars. It’s just not possible right now. That’s unacceptable.”…
