Baby safely surrendered in Delhi Township via Safe Haven Baby Box

DELHI TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) – A newborn was safely surrendered in January using the Safe Haven Baby Box at the Delhi Township Fire Department in Cincinnati, officials said.

The infant was placed anonymously into the temperature-controlled box, triggering a silent alarm that alerted firefighters, who responded immediately and followed established safety protocols. Officials said the baby is healthy and on track to be placed in a permanent adoptive home.
