Ohio woman convicted after shooting guest at party attended by husband, boyfriend

WARREN COUNTY, Ohio — A 29-year-old Franklin woman has been convicted of attempted murder and other felonies after prosecutors said she opened fire at a New Year’s Eve party, critically injuring a guest.

Warren County Prosecutor David P. Fornshell said Olivia Clendenin was found guilty by a Warren County jury of attempted murder, two counts of felonious assault and improperly discharging a firearm into a habitation. The verdict included firearm specifications.

Prosecutors said the shooting happened shortly after midnight Jan. 1, 2025, at a home on Dearth Road in Clearcreek Township.

Authorities said Clendenin learned her husband and boyfriend were both at the party after each man discovered her relationship with the other earlier that evening.
