COVINGTON, Ky. (WXIX) – A man will spend several decades in prison for beating and hospitalizing a woman who was seven months pregnant.
According to Kenton County Commonwealth’s Attorney Rob Sanders, a jury found 24-year-old Keshaun Simpson guilty of assault in the first degree, assault in the fourth degree (domestic violence), and being a persistent felony offender in the second degree.
Kenton County Circuit Court Judge Patricia Summe sentenced Simpson to 30 years in prison on Monday, Feb. 9.
