Crews in Clermont County battle 2-alarm house fire after heavy flames erupt

NEW RICHMOND, Ohio (WKRC) – Flames tore through a home in Clermont County early Sunday, prompting a two-alarm response.

Firefighters were dispatched just after midnight to the 300 block of Susana Way in New Richmond for a reported structure fire. When crews arrived there were heavy flames visible from the front of the residence.

Crews deployed a 1.75-inch attack line to protect a nearby home and set up an aerial ladder to conduct a defensive attack using a master stream. Because of the intensity of the fire, other agencies were brought in from Monroe Township Fire & EMS, Washington Township Fire-Rescue, Central Joint Fire-EMS District, Bethel-Tate Fire Department, Pierce Township Fire Department, Union Township Fire Department, the Clermont County Fire Investigation Team and Milford Community Fire Department…
