Blockbuster movie lands tax credits to film in Cincinnati

CINCINNATI (Cincinnati Business Courier) – The sequel to James Gunn’s smash hit, “Superman,” will film in Cincinnati and has been approved for nearly $2 million in state tax credits.

The Ohio Department of Development said it has approved more than $1.9 million in tax credits for a project known as “Exodus.” A source close to the production confirmed the film is “Man of Tomorrow.” Gunn’s first Superman movie had a codename, “Genesis,” the first book of the Bible. The Bible’s second book is Exodus.

A copy of the application to the state shows Gunn is the director, along with the same producers from his 2025 “Superman.”…
