CINCINNATI (WKRC) – A tiny device about the size of a quarter is prompting police and prosecutors across Kentucky to push for a change in state law after a spike in “Glock switch” seizures.
A Glock switch can be placed on a semiautomatic gun, making it function much more like a machine gun by allowing it to fire multiple rounds rapidly. Kenton County Commonwealth’s Attorney Rob Sanders, who said he has handled about a half dozen cases involving guns with Glock switches, called them “very dangerous.”
