Covington Police are increasing their presence on and around the intersection of 16th Street and Maryland Avenue after two people were charged in a drug investigation on Thursday.
The police are asking for the community’s help in suppressing drug-related activity in the area and are even offering cash rewards for tips that lead to additional arrests.
“This particular intersection has been an issue in the past,” said Covington Police Public Information Officer Justin Bradbury, adding that Thursday’s bust was part of a “broader effort” to address the issues in the area…
