The Cincinnati Police Department has made a second arrest in connection with the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Anthony Davis. Derrick Terry, 18, was apprehended on Wednesday by the Dayton Police Department. This development follows the previous arrest of Destiny Newman on February 12 for her alleged involvement in the shooting that occurred on February 4 in Hartwell. There, on Burns Avenue, Davis suffered a gunshot wound, which ultimately led to a crash and his death, as reported by FOX19.
Terry, now charged with murder, was found by police and taken into custody, with detectives stating Newman and other unidentified suspects had robbed Davis and shot him while he was behind the wheel, causing his eventual crash and demise. As Local 12 reports, the suspects allegedly fled after the shooting.
The incident had its beginnings at a Speedway gas station on East Galbraith Road before reaching its calamitous endpoint a minute later on Burns Avenue.
