CINCINNATI (WKRC) – Cincinnati native Connor Curran’s Olympic debut ended just short of the medal round in men’s aerials Friday at Livigno Snow Park in Milan.
Curran, 21, placed 12th after two jumps in the final. Teammate Derek Krueger finished 11th, while Chris Lillis led the Americans with an eighth-place result. Krueger and Curran were unable to land clean jumps and did not advance to the six-man super final.
Curran, the youngest aerialist in the field, attended Sharonville Elementary School and Princeton City Middle School before moving to New York. He has been a member of Team USA since 2024.
All three American men qualified for the final. Curran was the only American to advance in the first round, scoring 117.26 points on a back full-double full-full.
China’s Xindi Wang won gold with a score of 132.60. Switzerland’s Noe Roth earned silver with 131.58, and China’s Tianama Li took bronze with 123.93…
