A fire broke out early Sunday morning at the historic Butler County Courthouse in Hamilton, according to fire department crews on scene.
Hamilton Fire Chief Thomas Eickelberger said a fire began in the basement of the courthouse at 101 High Street at around 6:30 a.m. on Sunday.
