Neighborhood pizzeria closing after 40 years, relocating to become taphouse

MOUNT WASHINGTON, Ohio (WKRC) – After more than 40 years on Beechmont Avenue, LaRosa’s in Mt. Washington will close and relocate to a new concept nearby.

The Mt. Washington pizzeria at 2111 Beechmont Ave. will serve its final customers Sunday, operating from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The business will reopen in mid-March as LaRosa’s Taphouse inside the existing Big Ash Brewing space at Skytop Pavilion.

“We’re incredibly thankful to have been such a core part of the Mt. Washington community for so long,” said Nick Fucito, LaRosa’s Mt. Washington franchise owner, in a media release. “While the address is changing, our commitment to our Guests remains unchanged. We’re excited to welcome everyone and give our Guests more of what they love in a bigger, more comfortable space.”…
