170-year-old Cincinnati church gets nearly $250,000 grant for necessary repairs

WALNUT HILLS, Ohio (WKRC) – Nearly a quarter-million dollars in grant funding is headed to a Walnut Hills church to help repair its roof and fix water damage.

First Baptist Church of Walnut Hills is one of 33 recipients this year of a grant aimed at helping preserve Black churches. The funding is from the African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund.
