Canadian food company to open plant in Clermont County, invest up to $150M & add 240 jobs

BATAVIA TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) – A Canadian food manufacturer plans to establish its first United States operation in Batavia Township, bringing new investment and jobs to Clermont County.

Dainty Foods announced an initial $85 million capital investment, with plans to invest an additional $65 million as capacity expands. The project is expected to create 240 jobs and generate $15.8 million in annual payroll.
