Clifton Market asks for community support after owner ‘wrongfully’ arrested

CINCINNATI (WXIX) – A community grocery store in the Gaslight District wants to set the record straight after they say the owner was “wrongfully” arrested.

Clifton Market owner Gurmukh Singh was arrested for allegedly “passing a bad check” of more than $1,000 to a wine company, according to a criminal complaint.

Although the charge has been dismissed, the family says he did not “pass a bad check,” and the spread of misinformation has hurt their business…
