HARTWELL, Ohio (WKRC) – Firefighters rescued three people trapped in a basement during a fire in Hartwell.
Calls came in at 10:23 p.m. for a fire where an adult and two juveniles were trapped in the basement because flames were on the stairs between the basement and the second floor. Two other adults were upstairs at the time.
All five people made it out of the home and were evaluated at the scene. One child was taken to Children’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Another person was also taken to the hospital for evaluation, and five people in total were displaced…
