Ford Factory Employee Killed During ‘Routine Maintenance’

Gregory Knopf, a 64-year-old worker, tragically died in an industrial accident at Ford’s transmission plant in Sharonville, Ohio, on March 16, 2024. The incident occurred while Knopf was performing routine maintenance on a press machine.

According to the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office, the press machine accidentally turned on and pinned Knopf, leading to his fatal injuries.
