CVG plans $59 million project

CINCINNATI (Cincinnati Business Courier) – Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport will replace all of the pavement surrounding Concourse A because it no longer makes economic sense to repair it.

The $58.7 million project will begin in 2026 and continue through 2029. An initial phase was completed in 2025.

The concrete apron and adjacent taxi lane around Concourse A, from where most non-Delta Air Lines flights depart, is now 40 years old. It has severe cracking, spalling and failures, creating debris and requiring constant maintenance to ensure it is safe.
