Cincinnati man accused of setting fire to apartment building, leading police on a chase

AVONDALE, Ohio (WKRC) – A Walnut Hills man is accused of starting a fire in an Avondale apartment that left two cats dead and put others at risk.

Troy Currie is charged with aggravated arson. He also faces charges in connection to a chase when police tried to arrest him.

Police say Currie intentionally set fire to an apartment on Rockdale Ave. on March 15. According to court papers, many families and children were home at the time. No humans were hurt but two cats died.

Currie did not live in the apartment building…
