‘I think it’s terrible’: Cincinnati residents push to stop sale of 105 housing units

WEST END, Ohio (WKRC) – Residents of the City West housing complex packed into Cincinnati City Council chambers on Wednesday, urging the city to stop the sale of some of their homes and warning that longtime tenants could be forced out.

Judith Jones, who has lived in City West for several years, was among the residents who came out to “Save City West.”

“I think it’s terrible. I think it just shows that no one cares about anyone anymore. You know, this gentrification, relocation, you know, it puts a toll on you,” Jones said.
